The New Orleans Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram for a second consecutive game in their matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ingram, who also missed the contest against the Golden State Warriors, is out with right knee soreness, though, in more promising news, Willie Green mentioned after yesterday’s practice that an MRI revealed “nothing concerning.”
Ingram will join Trey Murphy, Jose Alvarado and Naji Marshall on the sidelines.
The biggest defensive key, of course, will be slowing down Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The candidate for the MVP award has gotten off to a fine start this season, averaging 26.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.5 steals; however, thanks in big part to Herb Jones, Shai hasn’t always enjoyed the greatest of success against the Pelicans.

OKC going to be tough for years. Their management set the team up with mega picks and SGA and Holmgren to lead them. Really been impressed by Chet’s play.
