Game #3: New Orleans Pelicans vs Golden State Warriors

No load management issues on this Monday evening, but both squads will be missing key players. The Pelicans will square off against a Golden State Warriors team missing Klay Thompson (knee soreness) and Jonathan Kuminga (knee contusion).

The Pelicans will be more short-handed than usual, with Brandon Ingram (right knee soreness) joining Trey Murphy, Jose Alvarado and Naji Marshall on the sidelines. That’s a tough blow considering the team’s fast 2-0 start and the Ingram-CJ McCollum-Zion Williamson trio having appeared in only 12 games together since the trade that brought McCollum and Larry Nance Jr. to New Orleans.

  1. Was at the game..First, Curry is just a freaking animal, even at his age. He distorts your defensive sets and demoralizes you.

Second, we are desperate for an athletic big.

  2. One last observation. We had 39 rebounds the Warriors 64. Without Kuminga. Our leading rebounder had six rebounds. Like I said before, the Pels need front court help if they hope to achieve their goals this year.

  3. The more I hear about the Ingram situation, the curioser it gets. Why was it such late breaking news, when he was at shootaround in the morning and he wasn’t even on the injury report? Why did he not even show his face at the game? CJ threw up in the tunnel last night, yet he comes out and plays. What’s the deal?
